Yes complimentary parking is provided, however it would be appreciated if the number of cars could be kept to a minimum as parking is limited. Security parking is also available in the Couran Cove Resort car park for a daily charge.

Where can we get supplies?
A shopping complex is within a 5-minute drive of our office and contains a Bi-Lo supermarket, butcher, newsagent, gourmet deli, bakery, liquor store and various shops and cafes.

Rushed for time? For a small fee we can provide a personal shopping service and have your entire grocery requirements onboard before you arrive. See additional information for further details.

Can we get supplies while on the water?
Yes, a service called Ship Shop operates on weekends in the North end of our service area (most popular area). Onboard they carry a range of groceries, liquor, Ice and bait. Alternatively there are a number of anchorages where you can go ashore and top up supplies.

What to bring?
Food, drinks, personal items, and towels are all you require. It is also a good idea to include some fishing equipment, a good book, board games, cards and don’t forget salt & pepper and oil for the BBQ. Refer to vessel checklist for more information.

Please Note: Most vessels run on 12V power (luxury range excluded), therefore please do not bring any 240V appliances such as play stations, hair dryers, heaters, coffee machines etc as they will not work.

If you do have a particular requirement please call one of our friendly team members to discuss.

Do you need a boat license?
No, anyone over 18 that has been through our induction program can hire a houseboat (as long as they have some common sense).

Can we bring the family pet along?
Unfortunately for health reasons we are unable to allow pets on board the vessels.
Where can we go?
Having some of the best waterways in Australia, few people get the chance to properly cover the entire service area within the space of a week.We have a number of wonderful anchorages that are just great to drop the pick, wet a line and kick back for a day or two.

Some of these include Marine Stadium, Wave Break Island, Sanctuary Cove, Jacobs Well, Tipplers Resort, The Bedroom, North Bedroom or Millionaires as the locals know it just to mention a few.

What do I do if I need assistance?

Our office is open 7 days a week and we have an emergency contact number 24 hours a day should you get into any problems.

As a last resort all boats have a 2-way radio and you can call the Coast Guard or Volunteer Marine Rescue for assistance.
